Excitement and Inspiration at Kalumu Primary School

On 17 February 2012, Kalumu Primary School held an educational day for parents and the community to showcase the school's improvement.  Over 300 people attended to hear what has been happening in the school and particularly to see the new solar power, TVs and DVDs.  The children were delighted with the DVDs on show and it is hoped that the new equipment will help to bring about more interactive teaching.  It will also enable evening classes to take place as the classrooms now have light as well as power.
