Poetry and Philanthropy

At a star studded event in London, Lawrence Sail's book of Christmas poems, Songs of the Darkness, was well and truly launched.  Jim Naughtie, Ellie Updale, AA Gill, Kevin Crossley Holland all read poems from Lawrence's book, the royalties from which have been donated to TAS.  Desmond Tutu wrote the following tribute -

'Lawrence Sail's poetry is beautifully pictorial and deeply thoughtful .....I am glad that this collection will help to support the education of children in Africa'.

The event raised over £5000 for TAS.  We are most grateful to Lawrence for his generous support and would encourage all our friends to BUY THE BOOK!
