African Sand Dams Foundation work starts at Mitamysi.

After months of preparation, work has just started on a huge new tank which will collect water from all the school buildings.  African Sand Dam Foundation in conjunction with Just a Drop and TAS have funded the project which is expected to ensure running water to the school all year round. Handwashing tanks have also been provided.   Parents have provided the sand and ballast, and will be working alongside the ASDF team on the building of the tank. This is a true collaboration which will help to make the school a sustainable and successful establishment.  The garden which students have started will no longer require the transporting of water on donkeys from the community borehole some 3 km away.
